Privacy & Data Notice — What we collect and how it's used

What we collect: Name, age, school (optional), city, and the role you're applying for. No sensitive personal data is required.

Who can access it: Only Descreened's executive leadership team. Your information is never sold or shared with third parties.

How long it's stored: Application data is retained for up to 12 months, then deleted unless you join the team.

Under 18? We recommend letting a parent or guardian know you're applying. We do not require guardian consent for applications, but chapter leaders under 16 may need parental approval for in-person events.

Data deletion: To request removal of your data at any time, email descreened01@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".

Descreened is a US-based student initiative (Dallas, Texas). We handle data in accordance with reasonable privacy practices for non-profit educational organizations.
